| We produce a variety of orchid barks that are well received in the market place as very clean and high quality. They are sold all over New Zealand from Dunedin to the Coromandel, and we also export them to Japan. The feedback from Japan is that our Bark is of excellent quality. |
Fresh No2 Kiwi Orchid Bark (Image 1)
Approx 3 to 8 mm. It is used for Disa and Masdevalias. Sold in 50 Ltr clear bags. Good results were achieved in small scale trailling Disa Orchids with different growers (such as George Fuller) in this product. Some of the growers have now moved into trailling a small percentage of their plants for production purposes. We have to stress that it is imperative that the bark is kept wet, and therefor we recommend an eb and flood system which is deep enough for all the bark to be in water. The advantages of this product to sphagnum moss are numerous - substantial lower cost

Approx 20 to 25 mm. Used mainly for Large Cymbidium plants. Exported to Japan as decorative bark. |  |
